Year-End Planning for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017
On Friday, the House-Senate Conference Committee released its report consolidating the two tax bills passed by the House and the Senate. As a result, we now have a clearer picture of the tax legislation that is likely to become law as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 (the “Tax Act”). As of this posting, the House has passed the Tax Act and the Senate is expected to vote soon. To read a short summary that SFGH sent to its clients on December 19th, click here.
