Shabat has extensive experience representing individuals, corporations and shareholders in commercial litigation, business disputes, intellectual property, consumer fraud, banking, and insurance defense matters. Having previously served as lead counsel for corporate and healthcare industry clients in multi-state litigation, Shabat is adept at handling a broad range of sensitive and important matters in state and federal courts throughout the country.
Shabat has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Illinois Super Lawyers and has been selected as a Leading Lawyer in commercial litigation. Joelle currently serves as Vice President of the Center for Disability and Elder Law’s (CDEL) Young Professionals Board (YPB).
