Michael Brandess to speak at Columbus Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Law Institute 2021
On November 11, 2021, Michael Brandess will speak on a panel at the Columbus Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Law Institute 2021. The panel, entitled, “Barfly Case Study: Optimism Like that is a Revolutionary Act,” includes professionals who participated in the Barfly bankruptcy case in the Western District of Michigan. In re Barfly Ventures involved the sale of a restaurant chain through bankruptcy, legal issues concerning use of PPP funds, and disputes between the Committee and the companies’ senior secured creditor.
