Jonathan Friedland represented a litigation funding firm in purchasing an interest in litigation from the Chapter 7 Trustee of the estates of Magnesium Corporation of America and Renco Metals (Case No. 01-14312 pending in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York). The sale was approved on August 23, 2016.
